Welcome to Ciccio's Bakery

Ciccio's is a family-owned cake shop inspired by the sweet and meaningful memories shared between a mother and her daughter. Rooted in tradition, love, and the joy of baking together, the brand captures the emotional connection that food can create across generations.

This project was developed as part of a university assignment, where the brief was to create a complete business identity based on a personal food memory that holds deep significance. I chose to honour the moments spent baking alongside my mum and also nan ; the comforting smells, the quiet conversations, and the little rituals that made the kitchen feel like a magical place.

The branding for Ciccio’s reflects these memories through warm, nostalgic visuals, soft colour palettes, and hand-drawn design elements that evoke a sense of home and care. From the logo to the webpage and overall tone of voice, every element was crafted to feel intimate, welcoming, and full of heart.

This project was a chance to explore how storytelling and sentiment can shape a brand’s personality and build an emotional connection with its audience.
